Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice.
It is a important festival for Chinese.
My family always have our reunion brunch on this day.
This year, they celebrate it early on the 19th because today is actually a working day.
However, it is irrelevant to me.
I'm working on last weekend too.
Therefore I wasn't there.

We eat 'Tang Yuan' on winter solstice.
Thanks to my boss and colleagues.
I get to eat it too, though I'm not at home.

Not bad, delicious. :)
Wishing me and everyone a better year ahead.
Healthy as always, happy as always and safely as always!

singing off... Happy Winter Solstice!

A night of Laughter

I attended a funeral yesterday night. Around 10pm.
Father of a friend of my mother passed away on Friday, 17 December 2010.
This is one kind of funeral that I don't mind attending.
It is somewhere at Subang Jaya, Nirvana something.
When we was there, son of my auntie, told us that they are in the aircond hall.

I wonder, how could it possibly to have a taoism/Buddhism funeral in an air-conditioned hall.
It was actually a Christian funeral.
I have no idea when did the family converted to Christian.
But I will totally agree for my parents to convert themselves to Christian.
Their funeral is really hassle free.
and most importantly, noise free. and it is less dull.

The atmosphere is not sad... not that sad...
Her eyes were red and watery, but she can still make joke on that 2 months
of tiring trip in and out hospital with her old man.

To share the best one:
Doctor: Be prepared, he will be gone in few hours time, maybe 6.
D called all relatives to gathered around,
she stayed there, waited to make sure that she is presence when he leave this world. She holds his hand, talk to him, whisper to him, asking him not to worry, his wife will be well taken care by the children that are now all grown up.
After 2 days, D..........
is still there holding the hand, talking, whispering to her old man.
Another daughter of his came and go home on that 1st night the doc announced he won't be long.
the second day, she walked in the room, she throw a question to the old man asking "huh? you still around ah?!"

Do you find that funny?
I totally break into laughter after I heard that.
I'm so tired today. lol.
Feel like puking this morning. Not enough sleep.

What if........................ Is it possible?

What if we catch up?

Singapore is a hi-tech, wealthy city-state with a highly-developed and successful free-market economy. It has an open and corruption-free environment, stable prices, and a per capita GDP higher than that of most developed countries.

Its economy is heavily dependent on exports, like consumer electronics, information technology products and pharmaceuticals. It also has a growing financial services sector and a thriving port.

Like Malaysia, Singapore's leaders are conservative and the country has strict social controls and draconian laws pertaining to freedom of speech and expression.

Malaysia aspires to be like Singapore but its racial strife and 'bumiputera-first' policies are a deterrent to most investors.

What if Malaysia could be rid of corruption and be relatively free of racial and religious strife? What if the different races and political parties were united and had one common goal – to create a better Malaysia?

Would Malaysia be able to steal the thunder from Singapore then?

What if the man who could unite the people was Anwar Ibrahim? A man whose political life is now ensnared by a deliberate political trap.

Singapore cannot continue to be a magnet for foreign investment or a hub for industry, commerce and transport, if Malaysia comes out of its rut.

*Please note that I did not wrote the above paragraph.

but I am going to comment on it. :P
Look, everyone of us is living on this realistic world.
We cannot always keep assuming,
doing this over and over and over.
What if.....................
This is something that we spend most of our time in,
thinking, imaging, what if..............
what if i was born rich...................
what if i was born prettier.................
what if i was less lazy in the past..............
what if i'm not born in here..............

Oh please...... there is no what if......
this is what it is. Face it, deal with it.
You can't be always imagining that you'll success in life,
and do nothing, just sit there and wait for it.
Law of Attraction is a book that tell everyone of us,
that we can attract a positive into our life,
whenever we think of a negative,
it is always easier to be attracted than positive.

Law of Attraction did not highlight that you just sit there,
and do nothing, just think. and it will come true.
It never happen to me. Does it happen to you before?
Tell me if it does.

You still need to write yourself a false cheque if that is what you want to attract, am i right?
is that the example the book give in secret?
that you need to go onto the website,
print out the false cheque,
fill in the numbers, look at it, play with it, imagine having it,
spending it like you have already got it. Isn't it what the book delivered?

Can you see one string of action require before the attraction really begin?
that is the same thing here.
Does it mean anything to just
"What if Malaysia could be rid of corruption and be relatively free of racial and religious strife?"
"What if the different races and political parties were united and had one common goal – to create a better Malaysia?"

Think, is it possible? Is it happening?
Is there anyone trying their effort to make it happen?
Is the country, the people ready for this?

I feel like shouting out 'HERE the NONSENSE AGAIN"

Another topic here that I wanted to comment,
couldn't remember where I heard it from,
nor where I read it from.

People start commenting on religion.
This religion is no good, that religion is no good.
Is it really a matter here?
Religion is believes, religion is thoughts, religion is morals, religion is freedom and restriction.
Why I say so?

If you believe there are living beyond this land,
that somehow can protect you,
that is your believes.

Every single words in the Al-Quran, Bible, Hindu/Buddhism story books are to make you think.
Thinking helps in forming your thoughts.

It is morals. Every story is trying to make you learn the consequences behind
this action, behind that action.
It is a illustration examples for living on this land creates by man.
Creates by man?! There you go again, it is all about believing.
Believing that this artwork and article that createed and written by this man
is some massage that he/she received from the heavenly.

Religion free your mind, in a way,
and restricts you from doing something that you want to do.
However, those restriction ain't all bad.
Definitely reasonable for your discipline, and safety.
(of course, to me, i think that is a restriction for me to experience life,
and that is why i don't subscribe any religion,
but don't take me wrong, I do respect and believe in all of them!
I just choose not to practise them.)
For example, no alcohol for certain religion,
you won't be drinking until you lost your virginity without you knowing it,
you won't be drinking until you hit someone on the road,
or even get yourself killed, banging onto a tree out of nowhere.
swinging swinging, fall asleep,
puking puking, spending the next day cleaning up here and there when you are suppose to be at work.
Can't work, your head feeling 360 degree, got up late etc etc.

Sex before marriage? for me, why not?!
but it is to prevent you from, you know,
getting pregnant, regretting.

Religion is all about how you interpret it.
Some people can interpret it in benefiting themselves,
some don't.
Anyway, just trying to say that religion are good for one, good for all.

and don't live in a WHAT IF world.... you get yourself stuck there....

Jingle Bell Jingling!

Christmas!
It is around the corner again!
Years flies, I didn't accomplish much,
and 2010 is heading to the last day already. :(

9th December 2010,
a night out with some friends,
Great friends, they are!
Since Christmas around the corner,
lets have a wish list.
Mine will be easy,
"Someone please throw a party, and everyone of us,
will gather in ONE,
and approximately 15-20 of us will squeeze ourselves
and get ourselves twisted while we play the Twister!"

I would love to see them all twisted in a small mat,
I wanna snap a group photo in that moment,
it will really show us the bond and relationship that we had built
throughout all these years!

Anyway, a photo from the outing,
captured with Ipod,
Classic & Typical is what I would called ourselves! B)

Don't we all look great and fantastic while trying so hard to act like the clown?
That's me, the fourth from left!
Cheers!

Face-lift is the Solution

Wrapping.
That is what I do to my phone when I bought it NEW!
Not that I'm clumsy or what,
but I just feel more secure
and of course it look nice after wrapping.

I'll called it a face-lift for my N900.
It is something that you will see me have it in between my hand
most frequently, amongst D90 and Ipod
Normally when I'm holding D90, it always stays into my pocket.
Don't you think it look nice?
FYI, you won't find an identical skins outside,
similar maybe, like white background, black words,
but definitely not identical.
I tailored made it for myself. The design I meant.
I just love to be a lil' different,
you know, having a different design of tattoo.
Skins for cell wrapping.
The words are dirty. :)
What are the words you can spot?
"Lust" maybe?
but there are more than that.
Dick is in, Drug is in, Fuck is in, Gay is in, Love is in, Sex in,
Crap in, Cheating in, Stun in, in, in, in, in........
Doesn't it just look perfect? Black, White and little bit of Red, just like the doll strapping there.
It only cost, not sure though.
Really depend on what kind of phone you are wrapping.
Wanna do my Ipod too soon,
later, when I have plenty $$ extra.

What's so good about wrapping?
Okay, let me enlighten you.
You might find it $$ wasting, but it hell worth your penny. =D

First, I'm sure you always, somehow, someway, will drop your phone a little
maybe massive one, dramatic one,
and when you pick it up,
the first time you do is to check for scratches yea?
After wrapping, seriously, you don't have to,
No worries on your skins and casing
(lets do more worrying on the functionality after the shock eg it might get brain dead, injure)
Don't be silly, of course it scratches,
but it is never scratches on your phone original casing.
Get what I mean? Good.

Second, Feel dull of your phone,
black, white, black white, nothing special?
Then, what are you waiting for?
Go choose your design, and get it Wrap and done with!

Third, No matter how many times you drop your phone,
and scratches all over,
and finally you decided that you want change it/ renew it,
why not, just pay for another wrapping,
and you get to reselect the dress that you like for it,
and PUT it ON, that easy, isn't it? Darn EASY!

Fourth, here come the BEST part of wrapping your phone.
When you want to trade in your phone,
for let say getting the new Iphone 4, or HTC desire, or even the HTC HD2 or HD7,
you will be surprise you will get a little bit higher on your price!
Why?! Because your phone is like a brand new older model phone,
that do not have any scratches, and what not,
it's like a brand new when you unwrap to trade in!
Fabulous isn't it?
You know what to do. :)
Ciao! and sure hope that I can update more in the coming days.
