What if we catch up?
Singapore is a hi-tech, wealthy city-state with a highly-developed and successful free-market economy. It has an open and corruption-free environment, stable prices, and a per capita GDP higher than that of most developed countries.
Its economy is heavily dependent on exports, like consumer electronics, information technology products and pharmaceuticals. It also has a growing financial services sector and a thriving port.
Like Malaysia, Singapore's leaders are conservative and the country has strict social controls and draconian laws pertaining to freedom of speech and expression.
Malaysia aspires to be like Singapore but its racial strife and 'bumiputera-first' policies are a deterrent to most investors.
What if Malaysia could be rid of corruption and be relatively free of racial and religious strife? What if the different races and political parties were united and had one common goal – to create a better Malaysia?
Would Malaysia be able to steal the thunder from Singapore then?
What if the man who could unite the people was Anwar Ibrahim? A man whose political life is now ensnared by a deliberate political trap.
Singapore cannot continue to be a magnet for foreign investment or a hub for industry, commerce and transport, if Malaysia comes out of its rut.
*Please note that I did not wrote the above paragraph.
but I am going to comment on it. :P
Look, everyone of us is living on this realistic world.
We cannot always keep assuming,
doing this over and over and over.
What if.....................
This is something that we spend most of our time in,
thinking, imaging, what if..............
what if i was born rich...................
what if i was born prettier.................
what if i was less lazy in the past..............
what if i'm not born in here..............
Oh please...... there is no what if......
this is what it is. Face it, deal with it.
You can't be always imagining that you'll success in life,
and do nothing, just sit there and wait for it.
Law of Attraction is a book that tell everyone of us,
that we can attract a positive into our life,
whenever we think of a negative,
it is always easier to be attracted than positive.
Law of Attraction did not highlight that you just sit there,
and do nothing, just think. and it will come true.
It never happen to me. Does it happen to you before?
Tell me if it does.
You still need to write yourself a false cheque if that is what you want to attract, am i right?
is that the example the book give in secret?
that you need to go onto the website,
print out the false cheque,
fill in the numbers, look at it, play with it, imagine having it,
spending it like you have already got it. Isn't it what the book delivered?
Can you see one string of action require before the attraction really begin?
that is the same thing here.
Does it mean anything to just
"What if Malaysia could be rid of corruption and be relatively free of racial and religious strife?"
"What if the different races and political parties were united and had one common goal – to create a better Malaysia?"
Think, is it possible? Is it happening?
Is there anyone trying their effort to make it happen?
Is the country, the people ready for this?
I feel like shouting out 'HERE the NONSENSE AGAIN"
Another topic here that I wanted to comment,
couldn't remember where I heard it from,
nor where I read it from.
People start commenting on religion.
This religion is no good, that religion is no good.
Is it really a matter here?
Religion is believes, religion is thoughts, religion is morals, religion is freedom and restriction.
Why I say so?
If you believe there are living beyond this land,
that somehow can protect you,
that is your believes.
Every single words in the Al-Quran, Bible, Hindu/Buddhism story books are to make you think.
Thinking helps in forming your thoughts.
It is morals. Every story is trying to make you learn the consequences behind
this action, behind that action.
It is a illustration examples for living on this land creates by man.
Creates by man?! There you go again, it is all about believing.
Believing that this artwork and article that createed and written by this man
is some massage that he/she received from the heavenly.
Religion free your mind, in a way,
and restricts you from doing something that you want to do.
However, those restriction ain't all bad.
Definitely reasonable for your discipline, and safety.
(of course, to me, i think that is a restriction for me to experience life,
and that is why i don't subscribe any religion,
but don't take me wrong, I do respect and believe in all of them!
I just choose not to practise them.)
For example, no alcohol for certain religion,
you won't be drinking until you lost your virginity without you knowing it,
you won't be drinking until you hit someone on the road,
or even get yourself killed, banging onto a tree out of nowhere.
swinging swinging, fall asleep,
puking puking, spending the next day cleaning up here and there when you are suppose to be at work.
Can't work, your head feeling 360 degree, got up late etc etc.
Sex before marriage? for me, why not?!
but it is to prevent you from, you know,
getting pregnant, regretting.
Religion is all about how you interpret it.
Some people can interpret it in benefiting themselves,
some don't.
Anyway, just trying to say that religion are good for one, good for all.
and don't live in a WHAT IF world.... you get yourself stuck there....
Byee~!
